Course Duration – 1 – 2 years (depending on your schools’ preference)  

Are you a natural organizer, with a flair for events? Got an eye for the big picture and the details that make it happen? Working in events can take you from festivals and conferences to fundraisers and shows. A  SIT30516 Certificate III in Events will prepare you for this massive industry.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use a range of well-developed events administration or operational skills and knowledge to complete event-related work activities. Using discretion and judgment, they work with some independence under the guidance of more senior event personnel, using plans, policies, and procedures to guide work activities.

Students are required to complete 6 Core units and 7 Electives (electives may change depending on school preference)

Events are diverse in nature and this qualification provides a pathway to work for event or exhibition organizations operating in a range of industries including Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Sport, Cultural and Community sectors.

Entry Requirements

Eligibility rules apply to students wanting to enrol in this program with Redmako Learning including: 

  • Must be aged 15 years or above 
  • Students studying in Australia must be an Australian or NZ Citizen or permanent resident 
  • Student must be a QLD resident  

After enrolling in the course, each student must complete the Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) evaluation. This LLN evaluation will assist Redmako Learning in identifying each learner’s needs and the appropriate support required. 


Each student must also provide their USI (Unique Student Identifier) before they will gain access to their materials. If you do not have a USI, we will provide instructions of how you can create one. 

Course Fees & Payment Options
