Mid-year entry to courses can help students reach their QCE points and ATAR goals earlier. Year 11 mid-year entry helps students finish two terms earlier compared to those who only enrol at the start of Year 12. The flexibility this then yields for the final 2 terms of school could prove invaluable for students in reducing pressure and providing extra time for exam / assessment preparation of other subjects.
Year 11 students can choose a program that they are interested in, and Year 10 students can also benefit greatly from the head start. We’ve featured below 3 great programs that start in Term 3 & require NO MINIMUM numbers. This dual qualification program provides an overview of the tourism and events industry. It introduces practical administrative skills including safety and security in the workplace, customer service, simple computing tasks, and some basic administrative tasks, as well as event management. The Queensland Government’s C3G VETiS funding could be available for eligible students for the Certificate II in Tourism.
