Course Duration – 1 – 2 years (depending on your schools preference)
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have a range of well-developed hospitality service, sales or operational skills and sound knowledge of industry operations. Using discretion and judgement, they work with some independence and under limited supervision using plan, policies and procedures to guide work activities.

- Basic safety, health and hygiene procedures that you need to know to work in many hospitality businesses
- how to prepare and serve great espresso coffee, foods and other beverages
- how to operate a food outlet
- how to give great quality customer service
- how to contribute to workplace improvements
