Introduction

The BSB50120 Diploma of Business will ensure that you have the skills needed to carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise that requires business operations skills. In the course, you will learn to manage budgets and financial plans, make presentations, and manage business risk, among others.

Course Intakes Every week (barring Redmako Learning’s shutdown over Christmas). As soon as you receive your headset, you’re invited to book in for your first workshop immediately.

*This is self-directed by YOU, choosing when you’ll participate in the Live Workshops, which are scheduled each working day, each running for 60 minutes. There are 24 different workshops you need to complete throughout the course, but the timing and frequency of when you attend is up to you. Workshops operate on a weekly schedule with rotating days and times (either morning, afternoon or evening). The workshops are repeated each week, meaning you can participate in the same workshop as many times as you like (subject to demand).

Course Delivery

The course is delivered online through scheduled MS Teams sessions, aXcelerate, and industry training through traineeship.

You will develop skills in managing meetings, finance and people, leading projects and understanding marketing and human resources.

Entry Requirements

Eligibility rules apply to students wanting to enrol in this program with Redmako Learning including:

  • Must be aged 15 years or above
  • Students studying in Australia must be an Australian or NZ Citizen or permanent resident

Students who do not meet the residency and age criteria will not be eligible to enrol.

After enrolling in the course, each student must complete the Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) evaluation. This LLN evaluation will assist Redmako Learning in identifying each learner’s needs and the appropriate support required.

Each student must also provide their USI (Unique Student Identifier) before they will gain access to their materials. If you do not have a USI, we will provide instructions of how you can create one.

NOTE: Students under traineeship or otherwise need to be either working part-time or full-time to enroll in the course.

Megan Sloan

Megan has been involved with both small and large business for over 18 years, working with the Australian Government, the construction industry, landscaping, hospitality, retail and more. For 10 of those years she has owned independent cafes, restaurants, franchises, and food vans, some from conception and planning stages through to sale and purchase of existing businesses.

Her extensive involvement has given her experience including bookkeeping and accounts management, to project and personnel management, marketing and market research and business development. Her qualifications include a bachelors degree in Business Management and diplomas in Event Management and Hospitality. Currently, Megan trains in virtual reality for Business and Event Management, and still owns and operates her landscaping business and small business consultancy.
